Mystical Numbers

Numbers constitute the only universal language. They are precise, orderly, magical, pure and serene. Some of them even have mystical qualities beyond logical comprehension.

1111

When I was living in the Hollywood Hills in 1983, I went to bed quite early one night and fell into a dream about a woman with dark curly hair and thunder thighs who was with a French poodle as it gave birth to three white puppies and one black puppy. All of a sudden I awoke and sat upright as if lifted by an invisible giant hand. My head turned to the left, as if it were compelled by some unknown force, until I was staring at my digital clock. The clock read 11:11 PM. It was a profound, eerie moment.

Two days later at work I was busy at my desk when, for absolutely no reason, I turned around as if compelled by an invisible force and glanced at the digital clock on the far wall of the office. It was 11:11 AM. Just then, the manager entered the room and introduced me to a new employee -- a woman with dark curly hair and thunder thighs. She told me it was a bad day to start a new job because her French poodle had a liter of puppies the previous evening -- three white ones and a black one.

This 1111 phenomenon has continued with me ever since. Millions of people around the world have had the same "eleven-eleven" encounter. A Google Internet search on this mystical experience will yield more than 100 million hits. Psychic Uri Geller is also obsessed with 1111. "I believe that people who have constant contact with the 1111 phenomena have some type of a positive mission to accomplish," he claims on his website.

Over time. I have concluded that 11:11 is the gateway to a higher plane of existence, the key to the mysteries of the universe and beyond. It's a signal that awakens the subconscious mind to the revelation of the greater reality of an ultimate oneness, thereby compelling you to reflect upon your life and seek a higher purpose.

NUMEROLOGY

Numerology is the practice of converting letters into numbers, reducing them to a single digit and finding meaning in the results. This goes back to Pythagorean concepts in ancient Greece. In the Greek and Hebrew alphabets, letters also represent numbers. Chinese tradition also has a history of numerology.

In the English alphabet, letter a = 1, b = 2, c = 3, etc., starting over at 1 after 9. Thus my name, Bret Lee Burquest, would be 2 + 9 + 5 + 2 + 3 + 5 + 5 + 2 + 3 + 9 + 8 + 3 + 5 + 1 + 2 = 64. But since everything must be reduced to a single digit, 6 + 4 = 10, and 1 + 0 = 1. Therefore, the sum of the letters of my full name equals one.

In classical numerology, the sum of the letters of your full name is your destiny, the sum of the vowels is your subconscious (soul) desire and the sum of your date of birth is your birth path (lessons to be learned).

My destiny = 1. To become an individualist, originator, pioneer, creator, leader.

My subconscious (soul) desire = 8. Are intellectual and analytical with a desire to be a leader (not a follower).

My birth path (lesson to be learned) = 9. Must learn to be tolerant, sensitive, sympathetic, generous.

In other words, I'm a loner with a desire to rule the world who needs to be more selfless. No doubt about it.

22

In numerology, 22 is called the Master Builder, or a Spiritual Master (11 + 11 = 22). There are 22 chapters in the Revelation of John in the Bible. Psalm 118, verse 22 is in the exact center of the Bible and contains all 22 Hebrew letters. In Tarot, there are 22 major arcana cards (Justice, The World, The Sun, The Moon, Death, Wheel of Fortune, Magician, etc.). And there's Catch-22, from a novel by Joseph Heller, now a term in the English language which means the only solution to a problem is denied by a circumstance (or rule) inherent in the problem. Within a catch-22 rule there is always an exception that makes the rule a circular argument that can’t be resolved.

33

In numerology, 33 is the Master Healer or the Master Teacher. It denotes an individual who transcends his/her own desires and devotes their lives to the spiritual enlightenment of mankind. The human spine contains 33 vertebrae. There are those who believe the dwellers of Heaven will remain age 33 throughout eternity. The Scottish Rite of Freemasonry has 33 degrees. My brother was born on March Third (3/3) which is totally irrelevant to everyone, including my brother.

23

There was a recent movie based on the number 23, starring Jim Carrey, who was born at 2:30 PM and named his production company JC23. The recent TV series LOST also had the number 23 as a major theme. The Earth has a 23 degree tilt and it takes 23 seconds for blood to circulate in the body. The Discordian religion, based on the theory that chaos is good, believes that all events are connected to the number 23.

42

I have a friend in Minnesota who is obsessed with the number 42. According to "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy," 42 is the answer to the meaning of everything. The numbers on the TV series LOST were 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42. It's also the number of months the Beast in Revelation (13:5) will hold dominion over the earth. But for my friend in Minnesota, the number 42 somehow denotes a mystery to be solved. Whenever the number 42 shows up in his life, he goes into deep thought, first seeking a question, then seeking an answer. Yes, all my friends are strange -- go figure.

666

In the Book of Revelation (13:17-18), 666 is the "number of the Beast," an antagonistic creature within the apocalyptic vision of the end times. Many people believe this refers to Satan. It's also the sum of all the numbers on a roulette wheel and the sum of the squares of the first seven prime numbers (2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17).

7

In Tarot, seven is a number of great significance with profound overtones. It denotes perfection, wisdom and completeness. It is the number of the mystic. Seven is also believed to be a lucky number. There are seven days in a week, seven wonders of the ancient world, seven hills of Rome, seven virtues, seven deadly sins, seven pillars of wisdom and the seven-year itch.

4

In Tarot, four is the number of reality. Through reincarnation, the divine image of man is brought into the material plane, forming a four-sided square. Man's divine destiny is to learn to express consciously, through his experience in the material plane, the perfection he already possesses in spirit.

The four elements of alchemy (earth, water, fire and wind). In Buddhism, the four Noble Truths (suffering, the cause of suffering, the cessation of suffering and the path leading to the cessation of suffering). In the Book of Revelation, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (pestilence, war, famine and death). The four Gospels of the Christian Bible (Mathew, Mark, Luke and John). In Hinduism, the four stages of life (student life, household life, retired life and reunification). In Islam, the Four Arch Angels (Jibraeel, Mikaeel, Izraeel and Israfil. The four human blood types (A, B, AB, O). The four basic states of matter (solid, liquid, gas and plasma). The four fundamental forces (electromagnetism, gravitation, weak nuclear force and strong nuclear force). The four seasons (spring, summer, autumn and winter). The four cardinal directions (north, east, south and west). The four rules of mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). The four estates (politics, administration, judiciary and journalism). The four food groups (meat, dairy, grain and fruit/vegetable). The Fab Four (John, Paul, George and Ringo). And four is a four-letter word, the only number with the same number of letters as its value.

1

One is the loneliest number, at least according to the song with the same title. That's why I have a dog and an invisible friend named Whiskey Pete. But I still get lonely because my dog plays with Whiskey Pete more than he plays with me.

INFINITY

Infinity is a very large number, with a continuous string of nines. Existence in this dimension is the gray area between zero and infinity, where a collective consciousness creates orbs of matter drifting aimlessly within an endless Void of Mystery called the Universe.

In this world, there is no safety in numbers, or in anything else. The Universe is not required to be in harmony with its inhabitants. To function within the prevailing system, you must memorize the 9 digits assigned to your existence and deny you have a soul.

my name has changed multiple times since birth, so I factored it accordingly:

first given name (from earliest birth certificate known, I have several differrent BC's)

first name given
all numbers added = 76 = 13 = 4

second name given
all numbers added = 81 = 9

third name given all numbers added= 93 = 11 = 2

fourth name given
all numbers added = 88 = 16 = 7

fifth name given reverted me back to third name so same result which is on my current BC

I decided to change my name 5 years ago and the name I have been going by....
all numbers added = 76 = 13 = 4

isnt it weird that, although I completely changed my name it adds up to the exact same number of the name I was originally given?

and yes, i have experiences that 11:11 thing quite often, it used to drive me nuts, but i am quite used to waking up and checking the clock now at 11:11. there is another number, however, that pops up quite frequently and that is the number 4:07, and I wake up quite frequently at 3:03 too and have the most dejavu dreams when i do. sometimes its eerily in very close detail to the dream. the first time i really noticed it was a car accident I had later that day I dreamed of ti that night and almost didnt go to work that day because i was scared out of my wits.

to add to that I decided to do my birth date month and day added together equals 6 that is 2+21= 23 = 5

but if i add that to the year I get 2004 which = 6

name 4
birth day/month 5
birth day/momth/year 6
= 16 = 7

4 5 6 7

sooooo eery

so goign back to adding vowels:
first name = 53 = 8
or 48 = 12 = 3

second name
49 = 13 = 4
or
44 = 8

name i gave myself
31 = 4

seems i'm destined for 4
