The Lost Island

In December of 1980, a number of U.S. military personnel, including airmen Jim Penniston and John Burroughs, were stationed at the Woodbridge Royal Air Force base in Britain. At the time, the installation was being used by the U.S. Air Force.

On December 26, military personnel spotted strange lights in the Rendlesham Forest, just outside the base's boundary. Some 40 military personnel and area residents witnessed the lights. It was initially assumed that an airplane had crashed in the forest. Penniston, Burroughs and others were sent into the forest to investigate the lights.

Penniston and Burroughs spotted a 9-by-6 foot triangular craft with swirling yellow and blue lights, hovering a couple of feet off the ground. Their radios malfunctioned and they could feel static electricity emanating from the craft.

They approached the object and took detailed notes of symbols etched on the surface of the craft, which appeared to resemble Egyptian hieroglyphics.

Penniston also touched the craft, causing him to receive subliminal coded messages.

After about 45 minutes, the craft "brightened" and began to rise above the trees, then took off at an "impossible" speed and disappeared.

When they returned to the base, both of their watches were off by 45 minutes.

Later, Burroughs attached sketches of the craft, and Penniston attached sketches of the strange markings displayed on the craft, to their official U.S. Air Force witness statements.

The following night, the mysterious light returned to the forest area whereupon a female base security officer and her partner entered the area to investigate. The craft shot a beam of light at their vehicle, disabling it, then flew off.

The strange lights returned for a third night in a row.

The Deputy Base Commander, Lt Col Charles Halt, was informed and together with a small group of men went out into the forest to investigate. As they entered the area, radio communications were subjected to interference and mobile generators that the group had brought to illuminate the forest began to black out. Halt and his team then encountered the UFO craft, which at one point fired beams of light down at his party and at the Woodbridge facility.

Lt. Col. Halt had initially assumed he would be able to debunk the reports of a UFO craft, but wound up in a situation he was unable to explain.

Follow-up investigations revealed three small soil imprints in a triangular pattern beneath where the craft had hovered and possibly landed. Plus, radiation levels in the area were high.

Three weeks after the incident, Penniston and Burroughs became seriously ill from what appeared to be radiation exposure.

During this period, Penniston felt compelled to write out the coded message he had received, which consisted of an extensive series of ones and zeros, in a notebook. Once he had recorded the entire string of ones and zeros he was somehow mysteriously able to recall, he was then finally able to sleep well. The notes made no sense to him but he kept them anyway.

Some 30 years later, as the History Channel was making a documentary of the UFO incident in Rendlesham Forest, Penniston's notebook of ones and zeros were discovered to be a message in binary code (commonly used by computers) and was deciphered by submitting the sequence to a binary code interpreter through Internet programmer Nick Ciske.

With very few minor flaws, part of the message reads:

EXPLORATION OF HUMANITY
52^ 09' 42.532" N
13^ 13' 12.69" W
CONTINUOUS FOR PLANETARY ADVANCE

It was soon determined that the two lines of "numbers" in the message were global map coordinates.

Ironically, this is the map coordinate of the "lost" island of Hy Brasil, an island west of Ireland that seems to mysteriously exist and disappear over time.

The accounts of Hy-Brasil are similar to those of Atlantis but whereas Atlantis was reported by one or two ancient historians, Hy-Brasil has been documented in many first-person accounts. Thought to be the home of a highly advanced civilization led by an enclave of high priests, accounts of Hy-Brasil tell tales of advanced technologies, giant cattle, and city towers. Led by priests who proclaimed to have a universal knowledge, the citizens of Hy-Brasil were reported to be highly intelligent and wealthy beyond imagination.

That the island was difficult to find is not hard to envision. Legends of Hy-Brasil tell of an island that was shrouded in fog for much of the time.

The book, IRELAND -- A JOURNEY INTO LOST TIME, by P.A. O'Siochan, refers to knowledge of a lost island inherent throughout Celtic history and literature, off the west coast of Ireland, called Hy Brasil -- Hy meaning "island" and Brasil meaning "mighty" in Gaelic.

Hy Brasil has appeared on maps as early as 1325 when Italian mapmaker Angelino Dulcert included the island of Hy Brasil some 200 miles west of Ireland, southwest of Galway Bay.

The island was circular, with a river (or strait) running east-west across the diameter.

Hy Brasil had also appeared on maps in the 15th century.

The island has been documented by many first-person accounts over the course of time.

In 1480, men from Bristol, England, searched for the island.

In 1497, explorer John Cabot found the island and reported that the island had been discovered in the past by men from Bristol.

In the 1500s, famed navigator Pedro Alvarez Cabral claimed to have reached the island during one of his voyages.

In 1674, Captain John Nisbet claimed to have seen the island on a voyage from France to Ireland.  His ship was in familiar waters when a fog rolled in.
As the fog lifted, the ship appeared to be dangerously close to some rocks, so they anchored in three fathoms of water to get their bearings, whereupon four crew members rowed ashore to visit Hy Brasil.

They spent the day on the island and returned to the ship with gold and silver, claiming an old man who lived on the island had given it to them as a gift.

Upon return to Ireland, Nisbet reported that the island was inhabited by large black rabbits and a magician who lived alone in a stone castle whereupon a second ship, under the command of Alexander Johnson, sailed to Hy Brasil and returned to port stating they had also found the island, confirming the reports from the Nesbit experience.

In 1872, author T.J. Westropp and several friends claimed to have seen the island appear, then disappear.

According to local legend, Hy Brasil is shrouded in fog and the mist lifts for only one day every seven years. It is believed to be occupied by a highly advanced civilization of priests and monks.

In February of 2012, a private pilot named Niger Gosseur filed a report that there was a huge blanket of fog over the ocean off the western side of Ireland. As he flew over the area, his flight instruments became erratic for a period of three minutes. When he looked below, he observed a green land mass, where there should not be a land mass. The fog then engulfed the land mass as he continued toward Ireland. He believes he saw the island of Hy Brasil.

There were a total of seven global map coordinates deciphered within the binary coded message that Penniston had recorded -- the other six coordinates pinpoint the following locations:

  • a location in South America
  • a location in China
  • an island in Greece
  • an ancient city in Central America
  • Giza in Egypt
  • Sedona, Arizona

All six of these additional locations are considered by many to be global grid energy vortexes.

Perhaps, Hy Brasil is also a global grid energy vortex. Perhaps, it may be a key to the lost island of Atlantis. Perhaps, it's some sort of base for extraterrestrial activity. Or perhaps, it's simply a mysterious island that appears one day every seven years.

Or perhaps, all of the above.

Very mysterious, indeed.

Autistic Savant

Daniel Tammet was born in January of 1979 in London, England -- the oldest of nine children, he is an autistic savant

When he was a baby, Daniel would constantly bang his head against the wall. His mother was deeply concerned and breastfed him for two years.

One afternoon, Daniel was playing with his brother in the living room and went into an epileptic fit. His father's father had epilepsy and had died because of it. Soon thereafter, Daniel was put on medication to control the seizures.

Autism is a neurological disorder characterized by restricted behavior, weakened communication skills (speech impediments) and impaired social skills. It is usually an inherited issue, often noticeable before age three. It affects about one or two per 1,000 people globally and occurs four to five times more often with boys than girls.

A savant is a person with extraordinary mental ability. Scans of the brains of autistic savants suggest that damage to the left side of the brain may be causing the right side of over-compensate for the damage. They struggle with comprehension (left brain hemisphere) but often have amazing skills in memory and mathematics (right brain hemisphere), which also accounts for a lack of empathy.

For example, a blind autistic savant, Leslie Lemke, was able to play Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 after hearing it for the first time, even though he had never had so much as a piano lesson.

Daniel Tammet is fluent in German, French, Spanish, Icelandic, Lithuanian and Esperanto. He has also invented his own language, called "Manti." He is able to figure out cube roots faster than a calculator. He does not see "numbers" -- he sees them as shapes, colors and textures.

The mathematical constant "pi" is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter -- its value, to the first 11 decimal digits, equals 3.14159265359. In 2004, Daniel broke the European record for recalling the value of "pi" to the furthest decimal. He had memorized this number to 22,514 decimal digits and can also recite it backwards.

"I do love numbers. It isn't only an intellectual or aloof thing that I do," Daniel contends. "I really feel that there is an emotional attachment, a caring for numbers. I think this is a human thing -- in the same way that a poet humanizes a river or a tree through metaphor, my world gives me a sense of numbers as personal. It sounds silly, but numbers are my friends."

The 1988 movie, Rain Man, starring Dustin Hoffman as an autistic savant, won four Oscars at the Academy Awards in 1989:

  • Best Picture -- Rain Man
  • Best Original Screenplay -- Barry Morrow & Ronald Bass
  • Best Director -- Barry Levinson
  • Best Actor in a Leading Role -- Dustin Hoffman

Barry Morrow created the character of the autistic savant based on a real-life savant he had met, named Kim Peek, who is able to read two pages of a book simultaneously and recall in exact detail the 7,600 books he has read. When at home in Utah, Peek spends his afternoons at the Salt Lake City Public Library, memorizing phone books.

Daniel Tammet is also an avid reader. His favorite book is a good dictionary and the works of G.K. Chesterton, because he likes Chesterton's humorous aphorisms.

“There are two ways to get enough. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.”
G.K. Chesterton

During his early school years, Daniel was a shy loner, unable to make eye contact. He would hurry outside during the recess time, but not to play with the other kids. "The place was surrounded with trees," he pointed out. "While the other children were playing football, I would just stand and count the leaves."

After his schooling, Daniel wanted to be a teacher. Initially, he worked as a volunteer in Lithuania. Later, he returned home to London to live with his parents and found work as a tutor of mathematics.

Eventually, Daniel had set up his own business. He works at home, creating e-mail courses in numeracy, learning languages and literacy for private clients. Working from home via e-mail has allowed him to minimize human interface and also gives him time to work on his own language of Manti.

Daniel Tammet is an odd and wonderful specimen of the human species -- but then again, incredibly intelligent people always seem odd to those who aren't.

Named after Highest Bidder

Except for conceiving and raising them, one of the hardest things involved with bringing children into the world is agreeing on a name.

For many years, Michael has been the most popular name in the USA for a boy.

Lately, names like Cody, Wyatt and Dustin have been moving up the list in popularity.

Recently, the most popular name in the USA for a boy was Jacob and for a girl it was Isabella. These are the names of the two main characters in the TWILIGHT movie series, with Jacob being a werewolf. And in many parts of the world these days, including England, the number one name for a boy is Mohammad.

Believe it or not, my cousin in Phoenix has a neighbor who had difficulty coming up with a name for his kids so he named them after the model name of his two trucks -- Cheyenne and Sierra.

It's probably a good thing he didn't own a Volvo and a Hummer.

Some people come up with even more outlandish names. For example, Rock star, Frank Zappa, named two of his kids Dweezle and Moon Unit. When your last name is Zappa, anything is fair game.

A couple of years ago, a New York couple expecting a baby boy within the next 30 days put up a web site where they accepted bids from corporations. They intended to name their son after the highest bidder, such as Pepsi, Ajax, Goodyear or Microsoft.

It’s bad enough to name your kids after the model of the truck sitting in your front yard, but this is going a little too far --  another sign that civilization as we know it is about to come to an end.

Some of the potential names this poor kid could be saddled with include:

  • Mr. Clean
  • Dr. Pepper
  • Green Giant
  • Drano
  • Minute Maid
  • WD-40
  • Easy Off
  • Roach Motel
  • Captain Crunch
  • General Electric
  • Brillo
  • Stop Leak
  • Frito-Lay
  • Taco Bell
  • Jiffy Pop
  • Milky Way
  • Spam
  • Fruit of the Loom
  • I Can't Believe It's Not Butter

So what would you name your baby boy if you had to name him after a corporate sponsor??

Personally, I think I'd name him Stop Leak or Drano, and send him to medical school.

Hopi Prophesy

The Hopi are a Native American tribe who live on the Hopi Indian Reservation in northeastern Arizona. They believe that humans on Mother Earth pass through great epochal cycles, called worlds,

"Now we are at the very end of our trail. Many people no longer recognize the true path of the Great Spirit. They have, in fact, no respect for the Great Spirit or for our precious Mother Earth, who gives us all life. We are instructed in our ancient prophecy that this would occur." Dan Evehema (Hopi Elder)

The Hopi Prophecy indicates that three Worlds have now passed. We are into the Fourth World where we are about to enter the Fifth World, based on the timing disclosed by Nine Signs.

  • The arrival of white-skinned men who take land that is not theirs and strike their enemies with thunder -- (guns)

  • The coming of spinning wheels filled with voices -- (covered wagons)

  • A strange beast like a buffalo, but with long horns and in large numbers -- (herds of cattle)

  • The land is crossed by snakes of iron -- (railroad tracks)

  • The land is crossed by a giant spider's web -- (telegraph, telephone & power lines)

  • The land is crossed with rivers of stone -- (concrete & asphalt roads)

  • The sea turns black, killing many things -- (oil spills)

  • Many young people will wear their hair long, like our people, and visit tribal lands to learn our ways and wisdom -- (Hippies)

  • A dwelling place in the heavens above the Earth, appearing as a blue star, crashes into Mother Earth, signifying the end times -- (a comet or planet or space station??)

The Blue Star is also called a Kachina -- a supernatural spirit being.

“The return of the Blue Star Katchina who is also known as Nan ga sohu will be the alarm clock that tells us of the new day and new way of life, a new world that is coming. This is where the changes will begin. They will start as fires that burn within us, and we will burn up with desires and conflict if we do not remember the original teachings, and return to the peaceful way of life." Dr. Robert Ghost Wolf

The Hopi Prophecy Rock is located on the Hopi Indian Reservation, near Oraibi, Arizona.

It clearly depicts two paths.

Path 1 -- a 2-hearted path -- a 2-hearted person is one who thinks with their head rather than their heart. Modern people are out of balance because they live in a left-brain dominated society, leading to conflict and imbalance, which will ultimately lead to the destruction to those on this path.

Path 2 -- a 1-hearted path -- a 1-hearted person is one who thinks with their heart whereby the path leads to harmony and balance.

The Prophecy Rock depicts a fork in the journey where the 2-hearted people have the choice of selecting to start thinking with their hearts or continue to think only with their heads. If they continue on the heads-only path, it will lead to self-destruction, symbolized by a lightning strike from a cloud.

Those who chose to think with their hearts will return to the 1-hearted path leading to their own survival.

"Nothing living will go untouched, here or in the heavens. The way through this time it is said is to be found in our hearts, and reuniting with our spiritual self. Getting simple and returning to living with and upon the Earth and in harmony with her creatures, remembering that we are the caretakers, the fire keepers of the Spirit." Dr. Robert Ghost Wolf

The Prophecy Rock contains three half-circles that represent three world-shaking events.

  • The 1st world-shaking event occurs when mankind tosses bugs into the air -- (airplanes, first used in World War I)

  • The 2nd world-shaking event occurs when mankind uses the Hopi symbol of migration -- (the swastika adopted by the Nazi Party in World War II)

  • The 3rd world-shaking event will be recognized by a red cloak or covering -- (fire or blood or possibly representing communism??)

The Hopi Prophecy indicates that the following will also be signs of the 3rd world-shaking event.

  • The trees die -- (destruction of the rain forest or acid rain??)

  • Mankind builds a house in the sky -- (space station)

  • Cold places become hot and hot places become cold -- (changing weather patterns)

  • Lands sink into the oceans and lands rise out of the sea -- (global tectonic plate movement)

  • The Blue Star Kachina appears in the sky -- (return of the Hopi ancestors in the sky)

According to the Hopi Prophecy, when the Blue Star appears in the sky, the Fourth World will collapse and the Fifth World will be ushered in.

"Our relatives from the Stars are coming home to see how well we have fared in our journey." Dr. Robert Ghost Wolf

Apparently, there will be a very interesting moment in human history heading our way -- visitors from above arriving to check us out.

Keep your powder dry and your nose to the wind.

It would also be wise to choose the correct path and follow your heart

"You have noticed that everything as Indian does is in a circle and that is because the Power of the World always works in circles.... The life of a man is a circle from childhood to childhood and so it is everything where Power moves." Black Elk (Holy Man of the Oglala Sioux)

The Quest for Bliss

The quest for bliss is an eternal struggle. Human beings yearn for harmony, prosperity, happiness and fulfillment.

Unfortunately, there are a multitude of variations among the human race as to what constitutes human bliss, including insisting everyone think as they do.

Every minute on Planet Earth, 100 people will die and 240 people will be born.

This continual population expansion is problematic. Wars are manufactured by covert global elitists who profit from bloody conflict in an attempt to curtail population growth and create a world that conforms to their vision of bliss.

Demanding conformity to your concept of wonderfulness by attempting to change the world, when you cannot even change yourself, is an exercise in futility.

"Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none." Shakespeare

The quest for bliss ends when you realize it was already within you, simply waiting to be freed from the fear of what you fear the most, which is fear.

Follow your heart and trust your soul -- it knows the way.
